Finatust MFB have been partially integrated as they’re currently using our PEP/Sanctions services only and they currently performs manual checks rather than leveraging API-based integrations for their Transaction Monitoring.
Mr. Charles (Head of internal audit and compliance) gave the testimony that using Sigma’s PEP/Sanctions module has been a smooth ride for his role and the organisation at large. All of the PEP names he has had to check have come up fast and well-detailed. Only on one occasion had he been unable to find the name of a particular councillor (he didn’t disclose the name of the customer), who came to register with them and presented his ID as a councillor and when he ran a check for the name on our system, he couldn’t find it. Other than this, he mentioned that Sigma has been very helpful in identifying and confirming PEPs.
